Air Selangor Bags Nine MSOSH Award 2023

We are honoured to share that Air Selangor recently bagged nine Gold Awards for its various sites during the 41st Malaysian Society for Occupational Safety and Health (MSOSH) Award 2023 inaugurated by the Minister of Human Resource, YB Tuan V. Sivakumar.

A total of 13 Air Selangor sites were announced as the winners of three Gold Award categories. Under the First Category – our Bukit Nanas Water Treatment Plant received a Gold Merit award; while under the Second Category – the Semenyih 2 Water Treatment Plant, our Headquarters and six more Regional Offices won nine Gold Class 1 awards; and another three Regional Offices also walked away with three Gold Class 2 awards.

The MSOSH Occupational Safety and Health Award is an annual award presented to organisations in Malaysia with proven outstanding Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) performance. As part of the adjudication process, Air Selangor was subjected to stringent document and site verification audits to ensure that it was proactively and continually improving its OSH practices.

As we forge ahead, we are proud of our HSSE achievements through the string of awards from international and local occupational safety bodies, recognising the collective effort of each and everyone in the organisation who played a key role in increasing and driving HSSE awareness and culture. We want to thank all our people for continuously upholding the best HSSE practices in the organisation to ensure Air Selangor is a safe workplace for everyone.
