Air Selangor’s HSSE Week Appreciation Ceremony 2023

Our HSSE Week Appreciation Ceremony took place recently, marking the end of our series of events and activities campaigning on HSSE culture at workplaces and shared community areas. HSSE or Health, Safety, Security & Environment is an important aspect for Air Selangor, and with the theme “Vision Zero: Exhibiting HSE Excellence Culture at Workplace,” we organised engaging and exciting indoor activities such as Zero Waste competition, slogan contest, HSSE corner challenge, Masterchef: Healthy Food competition, and the HSSE ICON award in our effort to emphasise the HSSE culture among our people.
The appreciation ceremony was officiated by our Acting Chief Executive Officer, Ir. Abas Abdullah with over 200 attendees consisting of our employees, goverment agencies such as DOSH Kuala Lumpur, DOE Kuala Lumpur, CGSO Selangor, JBPM, and our valued business partners such as OSHMA, MKRS, OSHMED and NIOSH also gracing the occasion. During the ceremony, the prestigious ICON and CONHEXA awards for our contractors were also conferred.
As we forge ahead, we are proud of our HSSE achievements through the string of awards from international and local occupational safety bodies, recognising the collective effort of each and everyone in the organisation who played a key role in increasing and driving HSSE awareness and culture.
