Briefing on the Pipe Replacement Programme to the Residents of Kg. Chempaka, Petaling Jaya

We are pleased to receive an invitation to deliver a briefing on the pipe replacement programme to the residents of Kg. Chempaka, Petaling Jaya recently, along with the Selangor State EXCO of Environment and Public Health, YB Jamaliah Jamaluddin, who is also the Bandar Utama assemblyman.
This pipe replacement programme involves the replacement of 8.6km of pipes and the works are estimated to take up to 15 months. Apart from reducing the frequency of pipe burst and pipe leak cases in Kg. Chempaka, this pipe replacement programme will also help to produce better water pressure as well as deliver best service and experience to 1,100 accounts registered under Air Selangor and the residents of Kg. Chempaka.
The briefing was also attended by our Acting Chief Executive Officer, Ir. Abas Abdullah, Acting Director/Head of Operations and Head of Planning & Capital Works, Ir. Ainul Azhar Mohd Jemoner, as well as the village head, Mrs. Theresa Lim and MBPJ’s Zone 7 Councillor, Mr. John Leong.
