Air Selangor Launches SKM Programme Under Academy in Industry (ADI) to Empower Water Industry Talent
Air Selangor continues to drive excellence within the water industry through the launch of the Malaysian Skills Certificate (SKM) programme under the Academy in Industry (ADI) initiative. Focusing on the National Occupational Skills Standard (NOSS) for Water Distribution Operations Level 2, this programme represents a strategic step toward developing a highly skilled, certified, and competent workforce.
The dual industrial training approach not only bridges the gap between theory and practice but also strengthens the technical competency and professionalism of industry personnel. The launch was officiated by Adam Saffian Ghazali, Chief Executive Officer of Air Selangor, and attended by Ts. Mohamad Nasir Bin Mahmood, Senior Director of the Industry Development and Audit Section, National Water Services Commission (SPAN), alongside representatives from the Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC).
This initiative reflects Air Selangor’s commitment to strengthening the national water industry, as we strive to ensure sustainable water supply for the well-being of the community and the future
