Box of Hope – Kg Sungai Kertas, Batu Caves
We have collaborated with Village Grocer to distribute 200 Box of Hope containing basic food items to B40 families in Kg Sungai Kertas, Batu Caves. The programme was attended by our Acting Chief Executive Officer, Ir. Abas Abdullah, CEO of The Food Purveyor, Kok Kian Kee, and CEO of the Yayasan Food Bank Malaysia, Johan Halid.
Our Hydro Heroes volunteers also participated in packing and distributing the boxes to the recipients. To date, a total of 5,675 families have benefited from this Box of Hope programme, which has been distributed to B40 communities around Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya. Air Selangor has collaborated with Village Grocer for the Box of Hope programme since 2020.
