Box of Hope programme at Masjid Talhah bin Ubaidillah, Bukit Jalil
The Box of Hope CSR Programme under the Sesama Mara initiative continued at Masjid Talhah bin Ubaidillah, Bukit Jalil, in collaboration with the Residents Association of PPR Pinggiran Bukit Jalil.
A total of 150 boxes of essential food items were distributed to B40 families during the event, which was attended by Mr. Syed Rizakri Syed Mohamad Ridzuan, Technical Manager of Air Selangor Petaling region, and En Johan Halid, Chief Executive Officer of Yayasan Food Bank Malaysia.
A team of 17 Hydro Heroes volunteers from Air Selangor worked hand in hand to distribute the food boxes to the recipients. To date, a total of 7,669 B40 families across Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya have benefited from the Box of Hope programme which was launched in 2020.
