Box of Hope programme in Kampung Pandan Dalam
Air Selangor has continued its Sesama Mara community investment initiative through the Box of Hope programme in Kampung Pandan Dalam, Ampang Jaya, in collaboration with the Village Development and Security Committee (JPKK) Kampung Pandan Dalam, Ampang.
A total of 150 B40 families received assistance in the form of essential food supplies such as rice, cooking oil, sugar, dry goods, flour, and other daily necessities.
The contribution ceremony was officiated by En. Ammar bin Izham, Coordinating Officer from the office of EXCO for Infrastructure & Agriculture, and attended by Ir. Ts. Tengku Mohd Safari, Air Selangor’s Head of Region for Kuala Lumpur and En. Azhar Ahmad, Chief Financial Officer of Yayasan Food Bank Malaysia.
A total of 16 Air Selangor Hydro Heroes volunteers also participated in distributing the food boxes and ensuring the smooth running of the programme. To date, 8,174 B40 families across Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, and Putrajaya have benefited from the Box of Hope programme since its launch in 2020.
