Box of Hope programme in Kampung Sungai Apong, Sabak Bernam
Air Selangor remains committed to supporting underprivileged communities through the Box of Hope programme in Kampung Sungai Apong, Sabak Bernam, in collaboration with the Village Development and Security Committee (JPKK) of Kampung Sungai Apong.
This community investment initiative by Air Selangor saw a total of 150 B40 families receiving food box assistance containing essential items such as rice, cooking oil, sugar, dry goods, flour and various other daily necessities.
The programme was attended by Ts. Mohd Azmi bin Md Nasir, Head of Region for Sabak Bernam and Kuala Selangor; Encik Zahairul Abdul Rahman, Village Head of Mukim Bagan Nakhoda Omar; and Encik Mohd Shahrazad Abd Ghani, Chairman of JPKK Kampung Sungai Apong.
A total of 17 Hydro Heroes volunteers from Air Selangor were also present to assist with distribution and on-ground programme coordination.
Since 2020, the Box of Hope programme has benefited 8,583 B40 families across Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya.
