Driving Water Sustainability: Key Highlights from the Air Selangor Sustainability Report 2025
While climate change presents increasingly complex challenges, Air Selangor continues to strengthen the resilience and sustainability of our water supply through various initiatives.
As reported in the Air Selangor Sustainability Report 2025, key achievements include:
* Water Reserve Margin remained at a comfortable level of 17.86%
* Non-Revenue Water (NRW) was successfully reduced to 26.76%, equivalent to savings of 301.3 million litres of water per day
* Pipe Burst Index (PBI) decreased to 2.94 cases per 100 kilometres per year
* Drinking Water Quality achieved 99.96% compliance with Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH) standards
At the same time, Air Selangor continues to strengthen pipe replacement programmes, the construction of the Rasau Water Supply Scheme, and the use of reclaimed water to support the sustainability and resilience of the water supply.
