Merdeka Festive Cheer programme in conjunction with the 68th Merdeka celebration
Through our community investment initiative Sesama Mara, we brought 45 orphans from Rumah Kanak-kanak Triniti Children Home, Petaling Jaya and Rumah Aman Children’s Home, Sungai Buloh to the National Museum in conjunction with the 68th Merdeka celebration in an effort to cultivate patriotic spirit.
As part of Air Selangor’s Merdeka Festive Cheer programme, the children were taken on a tour of the museum galleries to deepen their interest and understanding of the country’s history and heritage as well as fostering a sense of responsibility and love for the country through an engaging and enjoyable learning experience.
Accompanying the children were 15 Air Selangor’s Hydro Heroes volunteers, who not only guided them throughout the visit but also organised a Merdeka-themed quiz to test their knowledge. To add to the cheer, Air Selangor also hosted a birthday celebration for the children born in August. The programme concluded with a luncheon together with Air Selangor’s senior management.
