Pulau Ketam Update: Air Selangor Mobilises RO Water Supply and Emergency Pipeline Repairs
Following our site visit to Pulau Ketam on 12 May 2026, we are working hard to ensure that adequate water supply continues to be provided to local residents. As of 13 May 2026, a total of 50 pallets of RO water were distributed to Pulau Ketam, while Sungai Lima and Bagan Teochew each received 15 pallets. We have also set up a dedicated Local Service Centre on the island to facilitate residents in obtaining the latest information and assistance related to water supply and ongoing operations.
On top of that, groundwork for the emergency repair works, including permit applications and the preparation of concrete ballast weights for the underwater pipeline, commenced on 13 May 2026 with the repair works scheduled to be completed approximately on 17 May 2026.
