Rumah Angkat Semai Nurani – a new programme under Sesama Mara
We recently launched Rumah Angkat Semai Nurani, a new programme under our Community Investment initiative, Sesama Mara. This programme has identified several selected welfare homes for adoption in order to receive comprehensive support, including basic food assistance through the Box of Hope programme, educational support through the Pandai Premium app sponsorships and household assistance during festive seasons.
A total of 80 residents from the three selected welfare homes, Rumah Bakti Al-Kausar (Bangi), Triniti Childrens Home (Petaling Jaya) and Pertubuhan Kebajikan Ehsan Ash-Shakur (Rawang), have and will continue to benefit from this programme.
The programme was launched by our CEO, Adam Saffian Ghazali. Also present were Madam Haley Moses, Manager of Triniti Childrens Home; Tuan Hj. Rosli Abdul Ghani, Chairman of Pertubuhan Kebajikan Ehsan Ash-Shakur; Tuan Hj. Airol Faraqee Abu Bakar, Manager of Rumah Bakti Al-Kausar, and Air Selangor’s partners from Yayasan Food Bank Malaysia and Pandai Education.
