Air Selangor Celebrates Chinese New Year with the Less Fortunate

In conjunction with the Chinese New Year celebration this Saturday, we spread joy through the contribution of essential necessities such as food, daily clothes and household items, as well as plumbing assistance to Rumah Orang Tua Seri Kembangan, Pertubuhan Rumah Kebajikan Kanak-Kanak Kaizen Selangor dan Kuala Lumpur, and Persatuan Rumah Caring Kajang Selangor, under our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Sesama Mara initiative.
Aside from providing assistance and visiting all the charity homes involved, a team of Hydro Heroes’ volunteers consisting of 23 Air Selangor employees also took part in the CSR programme by decorating the premises of these charity homes with lantern decorations and others. Additionally, the volunteers also entertained the residents with ‘yee sang’ tossing and giving out ‘angpow’ packets to enliven their Chinese New Year celebration.
