Air Selangor Holds an Appreciation Ceremony for Residents, Supporting the Pipe Replacement Works at Their Areas

We recently held an appreciation ceremony to thank the residents for their support and cooperation during the pipe replacement works that were carried out in Jalan Ara, Jalan Maarof, Lorong Maarof and Taman Bangsar Park, Bangsar.
The ceremony was attended by Datuk Mumtaz Ali – the Advisor of Bukit Bandaraya Residents Association, Mr. Charles Tan – the President of the City Hill Residents Association, Mr. Nitest Malani – the President of Taman Bangsar Residents Association; and Mr. Sivan – the representative of Bangsar Baru Residents Association with our representative, Ir. Ts. Mohd Azreen Saidin, Acting Vice President I of Planning & Capital Works, Air Selangor.
The works involved replacing the aging asbestos cement type pipes with the more durable ductile iron pipes, with a length of 8km. This effort can help to reduce pipe burst and pipe leak incidents, as well as improve the water supply quality and water pressure in the areas.
