Air Selangor’s 2023 Townhall

It was an inspiring day for Air Selangor on 31 January 2023 as we hosted our first ever hybrid town hall since the pandemic. More than 250 staff attended the event which was held at VE Hotel, and was joined by the rest of the 5,000-strong workforce virtually from all of Air Selangor’s 11 regions, from Kuala Lumpur and Petaling, to all the way to Sabak Bernam and Hulu Selangor.
Our Acting CEO, Ir. Abas Abdullah spoke about our 2022 achievements and milestones, as well as the company’s journey towards its 2030 vision to become the leading water services provider in Asia. During the Q&A session, Ir. Abas took the time to answer some questions from the staff, ranging from the company’s outlook to sustainability challenges in the future.
In his closing remarks, Ir. Abas also shared on how Air Selangor can become a winning team by emphasising on speed and quality to become more efficient to continue providing Joy in Every Drop to our 9.1 million consumers in Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya.
