Strengthening International Ties: Air Selangor Welcomes Delegation from the Embassy of Uzbekistan
We recently hosted a corporate visit for an international delegation from the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Malaysia, led by His Excellency Dr. Karomiddin Gadoev, Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Malaysia. The visit took place at the Semenyih 2 Water Treatment Plant (WTP), Malaysia’s first fully automated WTP with Digital Twin technology.
During the opening session, Ir. Ts. Ahmad Fuad Zainudin, our Head of Distribution, briefed the delegation on the efficiency of our distribution network, highlighting Non-Revenue Water (NRW) reduction strategies across our more than 30,000 km of pipeline network. This was followed by a technical briefing session by Ir. Azlan Abdullah, our Head of Production, focusing on water production operations, the treatment cycle and the operational standards required to manage a total output of 5,280 MLD across the Air Selangor water treatment asset and facility portfolio.
Also present was En. Nor Hafiz Abdul Hamid, Head of Transformation Management from Menteri Besar Incorporated (MBI) Selangor.
