Air Selangor Receives a Working Visit from PETRA

We are pleased to receive a working visit from the Secretary-General of the Energy Transition and Water Transformation Ministry (PETRA), Dato’ Haji Mad Zaidi Mohd Karli to the Langat 2 Water Treatment Plant (WTP) in Hulu Langat together with key delegates from the water sector.
Our Chief Executive Officer, Adam Saffian Ghazali FCA, hosted the visit, which included a briefing session about the Langat 2 WTP which has a design capacity of 1,130 million litres per day (MLD) and is divided into Phase 1 and Phase 2. Currently, the treated water from the Langat 2 WTP Phase 1 is distributed to Kuala Lumpur, Hulu Langat, and Petaling regions.
These delegates were taken on a tour to learn more about the water treatment processes at the plant. Among the visiting delegates were Suruhanjaya Perkhidmatan Air Negara (SPAN), Pengurusan Aset Air Berhad (PAAB) and Bahagian Bekalan Air (BBA).
