Air Selangor’s HSSE ICON 2023 Award

Congratulations to the DreamTech group – the Platinum Award winner of our Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) Improve & Continue (ICON) 2023 Award competition, which was recently held in conjunction with Air Selangor’s HSSE Week.
Their project “In-Situ Meter Testing” – an idea to shift the current method of water meter testing from the lab to on-site customer premises – can potentially speed up the meter testing process and reduce operational costs through on-site meter testing that simultaneously lead to increasing customer satisfaction as well as optimising our operational efficiency. This project also aligns with our dedication to environmental stewardship, playing a crucial role in minimising meter wastage.
ICON 2023 saw the participation of 25 groups of different expertise and skills. Besides DreamTech, four other groups walked away with the Gold Award, five groups with the Silver Award and two groups with the Bronze Award.
Congratulations to all winners and thank you to all the groups who took part in ICON 2023 while we look forward to continuing our journey of excellence and innovation.
